DGPPN Abstract Book 2009
The Abstract Book 2009 is available now.
Delegates have the option make use of the print on demand service which has been installed exclusively for the DGPPN Congress. Delegates may order their personal copy of the abstract book directly at the printing house. Price per printed copy: EUR 30.00 incl. 19% VAT, excluding shipping fees.

Congress Highlights 2009

The DGPPN Congress 2009 will be the most comprehensive one ever. Under the leading theme Psychiatric illness through the lifespan, numerous presentations will be on offer from which you can select the most suitable for yourself. Over 580 events with nearly 2000 presentations await you. 20% of all events will be held in English and form a continuous track.

Following this we will hear outstanding daily plenary lectures with Professor J. L. Rapoport, Bethesda, USA, Professor P. Nicotera, Bonn and Professor M. Bohus, Mannheim.

Presidential symposia on the following subjects: Ethics in Psychiatry, Perspectives of Research in Psychiatry, and Transcultural Psychiatry: As a Psychiatrist in other Cultures will be featured.

Professor D. Olzen will give a talk on the new regulations concerning living wills.

At the Forum European Leaders, 10 leading experts in the field of European Psychiatry from 8 countries will discuss Psychiatry in Europe.

A live interview with Professor Aaron T. Beck will be transmitted by video from Philadelphia.

DGPPN Congress Kindergarten

The DGPPN Congress Kindergarten is offering experience-based child care and creative learning workshops free of charge during the conference for children of registered conference attendees. Details

Information-Terminals
In the ICC Berlin you can find information terminals for searching the congress
programme. You can compose and print your individual daily or overall congress programme.
The terminals are located opposite of the DGPPN booth at the beginning of the bridge foyer on the first floor of the ICC Berlin.

CME Credits
On-site you can receive your credits either at one of the CME terminals in the main entrance area of the ICC Berlin where you can print them yourself or at the registration counter upon submission of the Congress evaluation form.
You may also submit the evaluation form at the counter and the certificate will be sent to you by email after the DGPPN Congress.

Handouts 2-Day-Workshops
The chairs of the 2-Day-Workshops were asked to upload handouts for their sessions. The participants of the respective workshop can download the handouts in their private mailbox and print them.

Poster Handouts
Poster authors as well were asked to produce handouts for their posters and to submit them electronically. What is new at this years DGPPN Congress is that attendees can print out these handouts on-site in the poster exhibition area.
